Q: What if I’m unable to return viable seed?

A: If you have borrowed seed from the library and for whatever reason cannot “return” seed, then there is no penalty. Alternatives to “returning” seed are:

  • donating a non-hybridized, non-GMO package of commercially grown seed
  • returning a higher quantity of seed from a different variety that you borrowed
  • borrowing an easier-to-save seed from the HHSL to try again
